Mayoral Quartet Actually Singing the Praise of MILO!
Nah, just kidding ... We know they were singing "Deck the Halls" (and the crowd loved it!) Nevertheless, Oceania is glad we could introduce the 100,000+ crowd to our fantastic new MILO High-power curvilinear array, and we are proud to have been part of the 11th anniversary Coca-Cola sponsored Christmas in the Park, in Auckland. This brilliant event also takes place in Christchurch earlier in the month.
The Oceania Mobile Stage crew erected our Sam
Mobile Stage earlier in the week, a Delay
speaker team, marked out the Domain
for Oceania's own T-12
delay speakers. Mackie Digital recorders were also prepared
and tested as Oceania was facilitating the recording of 48 digital
audio tracks for use in the final TV programme. The 48 tracks
were actually mixed down to two stereo tracks overnight, with edited coverage being broadcast on TV3 Sunday evening.
The Oceania A team - Greg
Peacocke, Richard
Baker, Chris
Gillies, Michael
Smeaton, Tom
Worley, Heath
Barlow, Ralph
Coppins, Greg
Ross, Ben Ross and several others,
(you know who you are) helped prepare the Auckland Domain for
this annual sing along with over 100,000 guests.
This year Oceania SuperScreens were on deck too, enabling the huge crowd to take in all the detail of the show no matter were they were sitting. Steve
Wilson, and Dean Martin were responsible for this area.
Equipment used on this production included:
MILO High-power curvilinear array for starters ... (the full equipment list here any day now!) In the meantime take a peek!
